This project was created as an assignment for my Technology Design class. The objective was to design a lightweight, one-piece 3D printable object that could be worn or carried by a user.
Concept & Sketches
I decided to create a stylized crab keychain. I started by sketching out the design on paper to visualize the shape and proportions.
Modeling in Blender
I used Blender to bring the sketches to life. The challenge was to ensure the model was printable in a single piece without the use of support, while keeping it lightweight.
I focused on creating a clean topology and ensuring the keychain hole was sturdy enough for daily use.
Final Result
The final design is a compact and durable keychain. It captures the essence of a crab in a simplified, printable form.
